Wellbeing Toolkit for High-School Students
Grounded in Te Whare Tapa Wha students will explore key factors supporting their well-being and learn how understanding themselves better - identifying personal values and recognising how these influence their choices and behaviour enhance their overall wellbeing.

About the event
Equipping young people with core wellbeing skills helps resource them for some of the tricky challenges and situations in life.
What is the purpose of the Wellbeing Toolkit for Students programme?
To provide students with age-appropriate, culturally grounded, and practical wellbeing skills which help young people understand and strengthen their wellbeing across the four pou of Māori holistic model of wellbeing; Te Whare Tapa Whā:
Taha Whānau – Social & Family wellbeing
Taha Tinana – Physical wellbeing
Taha Hinengaro – Mental & Emotional wellbeing and,
Taha Wairua – Spiritual wellbeing and personal values.
What Topics do we cover?
To help students form a strong sense of self-worth, personal growth, resilience, skills for healthy relationships, and looking to their future, while learning well-being tools and skills.
What do we do? Fun games and activities, group discussion, personal reflection, role-plays and more. Student workbooks and resource cards included.
Who can come? Year 9 - 11 students - anyone who is keen to learn and grow some skills for life focussing on the above topics.
